GS1 Australia (formerly EAN Australia), in conjunction with the Liquor Merchants Association of Australia, hosted over 250 guests on their recent industry seminar roadshow held in Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney last week.

The seminar presented Australia’s major liquor retailers, wholesalers, industry associations and government agencies who discuss with key suppliers their eBusiness strategies and the industry’s ongoing implementation of the EAN?UCC standards.

The seminar covered the industry’s approach to product identification, bar coding, electronic messaging and data synchronisation and their practical implementation for critical business activities.
